Profile

Dalil Osée Ouattara is a second-year aerospace engineering student at ISAE-ENSMA, one of France’s leading grandes écoles in aeronautics and space. He recently completed an Erasmus+ exchange semester at Warsaw University of Technology, where he studied advanced topics including FEM, aerodynamics, aircraft engine design, astronautics, space technologies, and materials & structures. He is currently a Mitacs Globalink Research Intern at the Laboratory of Materials, University of Calgary, under Prof. Joanna Wong, working on the additive manufacturing and experimental characterization of helicoidal laminates for enhanced impact resistance, a project at the intersection of bio-inspired composite architecture and aerospace structural mechanics. In the upcoming academic year, he will begin a double degree MSc in Space Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. He is also actively involved in initiatives that promote aerospace education and innovation, particularly among young people in Africa, through leadership and outreach activities.
