Evan Myers is an undergraduate research intern at the Laboratory of Engineering Materials, focused on finite element modelling and experimental validation of a density-graded flapping wing. This project encapsulates his passion for aerospace structures, advanced materials, mechanical design, and engineering simulation.

He is currently completing his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Engineering. He is also the Powertrain Lead of the University of Calgary's Baja SAE team. Outside of his studies, Evan enjoys cycling, hiking, and seeking adventure.
