Profile
Kiril Varakin is a mechanical engineering undergraduate student at the University of Calgary. He is passionate about aerospace, composite materials, and CAD design. With his contributions to the Student Organization for Aerospace Research (SOAR), he plans to continue developing his skills through the pursuit of his interests. Currently, he is interning at the Laboratory of Engineering Materials, where he is excited to learn about continuous-fiber additive manufacturing and contribute to the lab's progression.
Apart from academics, Kiril enjoys swimming, biking, skiing, as well as piano. Having been playing for over 10 years and now teaching his own students, Kiril looks forward to keeping contributing to the growth of others, whether that be in piano, or engineering.
