Yo-Jun Kim is an undergraduate student majoring in Aeronautical & Mechanical Engineering at Hanseo University in South Korea. He joined the Laboratory of Engineering Materials as a Mitacs Globalink Research Intern.

His research interests include aeroelasticity, structural analysis, structural design, and parametric design. At Hanseo University, Yo-Jun served as the president of NALTRY, a student UAV design and manufacturing club. In 2025, he received the Grand Prize in the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE CHAMPION competition.

Currently, Yo-Jun is conducting research on the optimization of internal infill structures for biomimetic ornithopter wings by selecting suitable infill architectures, developing parametric design models, and evaluating their mechanical performance through finite element analysis (FEA) to identify an optimal lightweight wing structure.
